Purple Lip and crazy dreams

The joys of pregnancy...  I had forgotten all about this particular pregnancy side effect that I experience in the last few weeks and that lasts for about a month after I have the baby... the purple lip.  You might have heard it called the pregnancy mask.  Not everyone gets it, but some of us get these dark patches on the face or other places. I get it on top of my lip and it looks like I have a dark mostache.  As if the extra weight and all the aches and pains weren't enough :( I started noticing it last weekend and I'm bummed 'cause I'm getting maternity pictures taken next Saturday.  Darn it, I should have done it earlier!!  Anyway, I'm hoping makeup helps but as you know I'm not a makeup expert so I'll have to improvise here.  If you are Jennifer Stone or consider yourself an expert on make up application, please email me with suggestions.  I'm desperate!

On to another side effect, the crazy dreams!!  My golly, it's insane!!  Last night my dreams took me to an amusement park in Los Angeles where the attraction was that everything was made of chocolate.  Yup.  You could scrape or cut the chocolate from the walls to find that underneath the hard chocolate there was a fountain of melted milk chocolate flowing.  You could put your cup to it and collect yourself some liquid yumminess.  The other main attraction was puppies from every breed that you could pet for as long as you wanted.  SO, while you were sitting on the floor eating your chocolate goodness, puppies galore were climbing all over you. SERIOUSLY, I'm scared to even have this dream interpreted.   I do believe the puppies part was due a conversation with Jennifer (sis-in-law) yesterday about her getting a new puppy.  Again, feel free to chime in if you think this dream gives you any insight into my psyche.  

That's all for now... belly pic coming up this Saturday when I reach the 9-month mark.  Don't think for a minute I'll be showing you my purple lip.  It's bad enough my family and local friends have to watch me like this... no need to share with the Internet.
