Lucy's 1st Christmas

Lucy made our Christmas so very special this year! We had a lovely day opening gifts, eating a nice homemade meal and watching her play with her new toys by the fire, picture perfect!!! We told her about Baby Jesus and His birth and sang Happy Birthday to Him while she smiled at us.

Later in the day we met up with family for a crab dinner, very original meal!! We missed our parents and siblings this Christmas but it was nice not to have to travel and be able to wake up at home and go about our day at our own pace.

Amongst Lucy's most memorable 1st Christmas gifts are her first piece of jewelry (a gold necklace with a beautiful cross pendant from her Titi Jenny), a fire truck (from Aunt Mary), a personalized mini album filled with pictures of family members (from great grandparents), a cute blue stuffed elephant perfect to have as a lovey (from other great grandparents) and a membership to Gymboree Play & Music (from her Granny and Gramps). She also received tons of cute outfits, a gorgeous pink piggy bank, books and many more toys.

I realize these are tons of pictures but it's Lucy's very first Christmas so we needed to document the event. Enjoy!!!

This is on Christmas Eve, Lucy opened one gift, a fire truck, gift from the Gross family. It was hard to take it away from her when it was time to sleep...

This was our Family Room on Christmas morning. Jim made us a fire and we had all her Christmas gifts and our stockings on the floor ready for her to open...

Later that day, on the receiving end of Daddy's raspeberries...
