Are there alligators in California?

Seriously, my house is like the animal kingdom!! We finally got rid of the raccoon and Today I noticed this baby alligator-looking thing in my pool. What is that??!!! I'm going to have to call the City of Livermore AGAIN. They know me on a first name basis there at the animal control department.

Really, I'm not joking, is this an alligator?
