We took you to a real salon for your very first haircut. Our town had some of those kiddie haircut places but Mommy heard that while they are good at entertaining, their hair expertise is not all that great and those curls of yours deserved the very best shot... So there we were, at On Stage II, being greeted by Carly who is now your very own stylist. The other ladies who were getting their hair done could not stop telling you how cute you were. You wore a pretty little pink sailor dress and you were darlin'. I don't think you understood what was coming but once they sat you on that chair you behaved like an angel and let Mommy take as many pictures as it took to satisfy her need to document this crucial milestone. We only cut one inch of hair but Carly was careful to cut the layers just right not to compromise your curls. She was also sweet enough to save the very first clip and even presented you with a card to commemorate the occasion.
It is days like these that makes your Momma feel all warm inside thinking about all the milestones we have ahead of us.

Lucy has such a cute smile as she sits in the chair while getting her hair cut. But I have to admit my favorite is the picture of her playing hopscotch in her adorable dress. She is such a big girl, growing up so fast.
