During the summer of 2010 you did all of the following:
- Went camping with your Dad. He took you to Village Creek Park. He forgot your blankie and you got really freaked out so you both ended up at home by 10pm but while there you help him put up the tent, attempt to make a fire (it had rained so the firewood was not lighting), made smores and hot dogs. You still talk about this trip even though you didn't fully make it through the night.
- Attended your first major league baseball game (Astros) in Houston. Alyssa and Mr. Shannon joined you and your Daddy.
- Went to the beach (gulf shore) here in nearby Winnie and collected tons of seashells. You also loved playing with the waves. This was Jenna's first trip to a beach.
- You went bowling for the first time.
- Attended your first college football game. Lamar played its first home game in 20 years after having their football program canceled. It was a big deal around town. Your Dad took you to a tailgate party prior to the game and sounds like you were a big hit there.
- Went to the children's museum in Houston and Gator Land here in Beaumont while our friends the Waltenburgs were here visiting.
- Attended VBS at our church. The theme was the life of Joseph from prison to palace.
- Received an award from the state of Texas for reading at least 20 weeks as part of the State's Library reading program. They gave you a cool tshirt and tickets to an Astros game.
- Took a week of swim lessons with Kayla Johnson from church and loved it.
